nicely done book , for anyone who likes to color cats this is one to get.

This is a really lovely book of hand-drawn designs of cats on quilts. These are two of my favorite things. I have a beautiful picture of my favorite kitty (who has long since passed on) sitting on her favorite quilt. It is a picture that I love to look at and remember her by. Now, with this beautiful coloring book, I can color and think of her (and my other pets from the present and past) at the same time.What is outstanding and unique about this coloring book is that you are given full size coloring pages of each design as well as a 4 x 6 inch version as well. All of the designs are printed on one side of the paper (with the back left blank) though the smaller version are printed two to a page. All of the designs have blank space on all sides, so coloring into corners is not an issue with this book.The designs are printed on white non-perforated paper. The paper is medium weight and all markers and gel pens bleed through. Not a problem – I am now using a piece of chipboard under my work to keep ink from leaking through to ruin the design below. You can use heavyweight paper or cardstock but be sure to check to see how many layers you need to keep it from leaking through. The binding of this book is glued rather than sewn or stapled. There is plenty of room to cut the page out if you wish.

Cats and Quilts is awesome! There is detail if you want it, but it isnt frustrating for the more casual younger artists in my house. Perfect mix of geometry patterns and animals. I hope this author makes more like it. The picture is the first one my 12 year old did. She was occupied for hours with this book.

My kids aged 11 and 17 both loved it. The varieties of pictures gave them all different difficulties.. easy to hard to allow them to be more creative and challenge them enough. My wife is a cat lover and loves to paint as well. She loves this book as much as my kids do. I highly recommend this for all kind of art lovers - easy to hard !!!

I am a crazy cat lady.... and I love to color, so it was quite an obvious choice to get this book. Every picture is super cozy and makes me just want to jump in the book, cuddle up on those beautiful quilts and make a new friend. LOL. It is a way for me to color beautiful kitties and admire them in the book instead of adopting them all. Haha I only have 2 kitties. They will not let me adopt more... the King and Queen are quite happy with getting all the attention for now. The book is well drawn and the pictures are all different. It has quite a bit of dead space like a real picture, not completely filled in like some of the books about jungles and ocean life. I have both since it depends on my mood if I want to color an entire picture in an hour... or 14 days. Variety is great.

I was so excited to receive my Cats and Quilts coloring book because I knew I would love it. I have about 22 different coloring books and this is my favorite one. I am a cat lover and the pictures are adorable. There are larger areas to color compared to most adult books I have. You really get relaxed and focused on your picture. It dosent take long to color and my creations have turned out beautiful.

Excellent drawings, printed one sided.

This is my favorite coloring book! I like it so much that I am buying another one! hahaha The book itself has a good amount of detail. Great space for different shading. The cats are gorgeous. Overall, I love the Jason Hamilton books. They are detailed to the point it takes a bit of time but not more than 3 days. I do these in 30-45 min sittings sometimes less, but can easily re-start coloring to the end. These are good if you are traveling and don't have your sharpener available.
