I got this book because my Fundamentals textbook references it so often in the F&E chapter, so I thought maybe it would be easier to understand. NOPE! Like all Lippincott books I've had to use so far, this one is painfully disorganized and inconsistent in the way it presents the material from one chapter to the next.

MUST HAVE FOR NURSING STUDENTS! It breaks down elytes in a way that you can understand. But remember: this book isn’t going to make you remember the s/s of hyperkalemia, it just makes its actions much, MUCH easier to understand.

This is my first foray into the Made Incredibly Easy series. I never really sat down and read this book front to back, but I keep going back to it over and over again because it's so useful. If you're a nursing student who takes in information best by reading it but also have trouble slogging through dry textbooks, this book is a great compromise. There are lots of cartoon illustrations to help you remember the points you need to, along with detailed tables and teaching point boxes. This is one of those books I'd suggest you buy instead of renting; so much of your curriculum is built on fluids and electrolytes.

I’m in a RN program. This book has helped to put F&L’s in simpler to understand terms. It has helped a lot. I often read in it to get a different version of my required text.

I bought this book for Nursinf School. It is straight forward and very important. It explains things in simple terms and has helped me apply it to hospital rotations. I have used my knowledge about fluids and electrolytes in the clinical setting and the teachers are impressed. This book is so helpful.

As an RN for 10+ years I found this book to be extremely useful, very user-friendly and was written in a way that was easy to understand and abled to be remembered. I’m not a guru who can sift through 200 pages to find one ity-bitty mistake. Overall the book is excellent!

Supplementing with this book for med-surg theory has been very helpful for me. Acid/base balance can feel overwhelming to tackle but this resource has helped clarify things for me and make the subject much less murky.

This is a great book. I think this book will be great as a reference for NCLEX prep. I had a fluid and electrolytes test that I used this book to study for. The material is easy to read and follow.
